camping guidelines
Frendly HEADS UP! BYOB IS ONLY ALLOWED IN THE CAMPGROUNDS THIS YEAR. You will not be able to bring alcohol into the music venue!
The campgrounds will open at 11am on Thursday, June 29th with an early arrival pass.
Limited car camping passes will be available. Otherwise mountain camping is included with your festival ticket.
All campers / Frends must leave the site by 12pm on Sunday, July 1st.
The campground entrance will be open 24 hours a day.
Every person entering the campgrounds / event site must have a Frendly Gathering weekend wristband.
All vehicles are subject to search upon entry and drop-off.
Primitive camping amenities will be available: Potable water and portable toilets will be provided in the campgrounds. There is no electricity in the campgrounds.
Ice will be on sale throughout the campgrounds.
Dogs are not allowed anywhere on the festival site, including the campgrounds. If you have a dog with you, you will be turned away at the gate.
Gas generators are not allowed in the campgrounds, though solar-powered generators are allowed.
No signage or advertising is permitted on any vehicles without written approval.
Frendly Gathering policy prohibits cruisers, scooters, ATVs, motorcycles, private golf carts or other motorized units.
Frendly Gathering is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen items.
No open fires are allowed at Sugarbush. Only contained barbecue and camping stoves will be permitted and must remain a minimum of 10’ from any vehicle or structure.
Fireworks, spotlights, laser pointers or other items deemed dangerous by Frendly Gathering to guests and staff are strictly prohibited and may be confiscated.
Because Frendly Gathering is a family-oriented facility, offensive signs, public intoxication or profanity will not be tolerated.
All internal and external sound systems must be maintained at a reasonable level.
Emergency Medical Services will be available onsite 24/7.
Port-O-Lets and trash barrels are located throughout the camping areas. Please leave them in the areas where they are placed. This allows The Frendly Gathering to service them more efficiently.
The weather in Vermont in June can be perfect blue skies highs in the 80’s with low’s in the 60’s, or it can dump rain. Please come prepared for endless sunshine and potential rainfall (this means rain tarps, rain boots and extra sets of clothes).
Illegal activities that violate the rules and policies of The Frendly Gathering are considered grounds for immediate removal from the premises. Tickets, passes and admissions may be confiscated and are non-refundable.
Most importantly, leave no trace! If you pack it in, pack it out!
